BubbleLife Media FAQs
Why didn’t BubbleLife cover an event in my community?
Each community has hundreds of great unreported local stories that are impossible for any one organization to showcase fully. To feature as many local stories as possible, we rely on our readers to submit articles and events.
Why don’t I see my calendar event in the newsletter?
Once your event is approved, it can be found on the BubbleLife news site. However, only three to five events are pulled for each newsletter, based on timeliness. Recurring events will not be seen in the community newsletter.
Why does my newsletter contain news that is no longer relevant?
As a news aggregator, BubbleLife pulls in new articles 24/7. However, this means articles may be delivered to your email inbox hours (and sometimes days, depending on your delivery preference) after they are published. Most content BubbleLife shares is considered timely for a few days or even weeks, but breaking news articles may be considered irrelevant after just a few hours.
Why is my story labeled as “Trending or “Hot Topic”?
The “Trending” or “Hot Topic” labels appear on a story when it is getting more views than normal. “Normal” is based on automated calculations of how many views an article should receive based on several factors such as the number of readers in the community.
Can I submit an anonymous opinion article?
BubbleLife invites thoughtful discussion from all readers, even those who choose to remain anonymous. However, to encourage civil conversation, we prohibit anonymous content from slighting individuals or including offensive language. Anonymous content is either approved as it is submitted or rejected. BubbleLife will not edit or alter anonymous submissions.
Who owns my customer information?
Whoever pays for the BubbleLife Connect is the owner of its data. That’s why we encourage you to sign up for BubbleLife Connect directly using your own name and payment information. Then, give your marketing partner access or request us to do so for you. Though your marketing partner manages your BubbleLife Connect account for you, the account and information is yours. If you decide to stop working with your marketing partner, you retain all of the content and information stored in your BubbleLife Connect account.
How much does is cost to use a BubbleLife Marketing Partner?
Each Partner has various packages depending on the work provided. Please contact the partner to see their different pricing options.
What can a partner do for me?
BubbleLife Marketing Partners help you grow your business and give you more time in the day. They can assist you with essential marketing tasks like writing and distributing content, sending emails to your customer list and posting to social media. Additional services can be included depending on your needs.
What happens if I want to stop using a BubbleLife Marketing Partner?
Your relationship with your marketing partner is based on the termination agreement between the two of you. If you own your BubbleLife Connect account you can remove your marketing partner from your account.
Does Advice Connect work with Groupon?
BubbleLife Connect is the natural complement to Groupon and other local advertising solutions. Groupon is great at getting people to your business. But if you want to get them back, you need to capture their customer information and then reach out to them directly. With BubbleLife Connect’s mobile couponing, text messaging and email capabilities nothing helps your capture and reach your customers better than BubbleLife Connect.
